If i hear just once more about Sony's 'secret incredibile game' that noone ever see's or if i hear about Sony's new 'best graphics game ever' game before anybody even knows what it is then im gonna scream.
I just cant't stand this kind of BS hype - we need substance Sony.
Sometimes they make Peter Molyneux look humble,shy and retiring.
Perhaps Sega/Microsoft are worried that enough people wont buy it if released and so they won't make any money from it.......
I suppose they could do some kinda straw poll to test the waters first - how they'd achieve that though im not to sure!

Interestingly when i'm playing Halo3 multiplayer it never really bothers me that Killzone2 has better graphics......
I'm to busy being sucked in by the gameplay which is still unpassed as a FPS - on any console.
Graphics = nice to look at and study every now and again and say "Wow, look what they done there"
Gameplay = the reason a massive amount of people are still playing the game months,if not years (Halo multiplayer) later.
Up until the PS1 video games were pretty much the domain of geeky guys, sure adults played to but the way they were marketed was so much different to now.
With the advent of the PS1 Sony's mareketing was awesome - making the PS1 fashionable amongst the people with the most disposable income and putting pods at events that were hip and happening to create a buzz, and boy did it work!
Nintendo, with the Wii have taken it that much further - not just selling to the ...
Nintendo for completely defying all non-believers who said that the Wii would crash and burn compared to the power of the 360/PS3 - awesome marketing and the gap still widens!!!
Microsoft for continuing to grab a bigger foothold in the console market,for having the bollocks to try again and again to get Japan to buy there console even though they don't seem interested.

I just hope that they continue to release the best ever FPS's and support the community like no other dev does.
Bungie are something special - they've refined and redefined what a FPS experience should be like, sure they haven't got the much vaunted 'graphics king' award on consoles yet but gameplay........they are second to none.
We all would i presume.............

The hardcores - i'm guessing anyone who bothers posting on a site like this will be so into their vidoe games that they will know what they are buying beforehand - us lot might be a bit geeky but we do our homework :D
The casuals will be happy with whatever they are getting - they went mad for Wii Sports so the same sort of games without a controller throwing themselves around infront of their tv's will be amazing for them.

You do understand the concept of gamePLAY don't you - you know the part of the game that a mass majority of people find to be the most important aspect of a game!!!!
A series of QTE's interspersed with holding down R2 does in noway come close to constituting gameplay on a level anywhere near Halo's.
Not just Halo's infact - Heavy Rain is the equivalent of playing GT5 and at every turn instead of breaking,cornering and acelrating again yo...
ON topic - nice to see that Sony are making gains in the hardware department - if only they could fix the YLOD problem, 54.2% of PS3's failing because of poor construction!!!

Regarding GOW3 being the game that will define the PS3 i disagree.
We've heard it before with alot of titles, and they've all came out lovely games but certainly not PS3 defining. (LBP,Killzone2 etc)
